I ordered this case because my children keep losing the remotes for our fire stick. I just bought new fire sticks for both the TVs in our house, so I also purchased these cases hoping they’d be easier to find if hidden/dropped somewhere. It’s working great for that purpose.This remote is neon green, however it has absolutely no “glow in the dark” -ness to it so that’s a complete misadvertisement but I’m not too upset over that detail, but some people might. If you’re looking for a remote cover that glows in the dark don’t order this one.It fits perfectly with my fire stick. It fits snug and all the buttons sit exactly in line with the layout.The material is a really weak, thin, piece of silicone. My kids immediately found ways to wear it down and tear it up. The top of the cover is now completely shredded. Both of my children are young and I know my 18mo old was chewing on it but even still it didn’t hold any chance against them.I feel like for the price this case would have been a little more durable or just less flimsy in general. There are definitely less expensive options but I choose this one because it appeared to have good quality. I wouldn’t necessarily stand by that claim now.Also I don’t like how the lanyard doesn’t come attached to the case. It comes separate & you’re expected to somehow tie it onto the case. I couldn’t get it to tie well enough to stay strapped to the remote. It’s completely worthless as an actual lanyard. If you so much as pick it up by the strings they come untied.UPDATE: Lol just as you know how people act funny The remote cover acts funny too! Every once in a blue moon we will get a glow! Lol I still like it!I actually really like it, matter fact I love it! The only downfall is the fact that it won’t glow. Overall I’m not upset with my decision to purchase it. I just asked the individuals Whom is actually selling this to take off the glow because that’s false advertisement. If you like the color get it just understand there’s no glow.Received the Fire Stick Remote Cover in Glow Green today, and had read some reviews indicating it didn't glow, so I wanted to check it out for myself. I put the cover onto the remote and then after having it under my desk lamp for an hour or so, I put it in our dark dining room on one of chairs, and voila! ... IT GLOWS! The snapshot I took with my iPhone 11 isn't great (and it almost looks like a photoshop job, but it's the real deal), and as you can see, it definitely glows! Additionally, it fits the Fire Stick remote like a glove, so between the fit/feel of it and the fact that it does glow (plus won't be confused with our other gazillion remotes), I'm very pleased with this purchase! And for under 7 bucks, you can't beat it! BTW, after purchasing this one, I saw there's now a "2nd version" ... so I was afraid my "1st version" purchase might not glow, but again, as you can see, IT GLOWS! ;-)The thickest and best quality cover I've purchased so far and I have purchased a few since I have a few fire tv sticks. I cannot overstate the quality of this remote cover. It's great especially for the price. I wish this company made covers for Roku remotes. You will not be disappointed and if you are just send it back. It does not glow in the dark well but I've purchased several covers from several manufacturers they all suck as far as the glow feature is concerned. If you want a rugged thick sturdy cover that covers the majority of the remote this is it.First of all the bottom is the wrong angle for the remote so when you pull it on as far as it can go you have this half inch left over that doesn't go on the rest of the way. This cover is so tight that trying to pull it on all the way reminded me of my old girdle days when they were practically made of rubber and you had to twist tuck and suck it in to get it on then all the fat spills over the top (You older gals will know what I am talking about!) As you can see in the pictures no amount of stretching was going to make this fit my remote. I am really disappointed that this doesn't fit.As you can see in the first picture it is NOT GLOW IN THE DARK. Bummer? Yes, but the functionality outweighs that. The remote without the cover gets lost so dang easy that I usually have to tear apart my bed in order to find it. It gets into the most ridiculous places even when you lay it literally beside you. If you sneeze ? it ends up in your pillowcase somehow. It’s Houdini. The case fits great, easy to access buttons. Has grid on the back so it don’t slide. Has a wrist rope so it don’t fly into crazy places anymore. I wish it glowed but the green is easy enough to see without it. So I’m not dwelling on it. I have 3 fire sticks. Bought one for each remote. I highly recommend this one, it’s the thickest I’ve found and fits comfortable in hand. Best $6 I’ve spent. Thanks!!I think the remote is great overall as it serves its purpose as far as protecting the remote and keeping it from sliding in the couch cushions.I just wish the cover/skin sat lower than the buttons. If you watch tv in the dark like me, having the skin of remote being level to the buttons and feeling like a flat surface, makes it harder to use muscle memory when aiming for certain buttons.I know, minor complaint. But hey a review is a review!Maybe they could build in grooves around the holes of the skin/cover.
