It light weight and not too large. I can use it for my medium to small projects.The bag is well made , has outside pockets , it’s roomy . It’s perfect for two knitting projects .I was really disappointed in the color. I purchased the yellow flowered on and the color is more tan with some yellow. Not as brightly colored as it looks. The size is good. There is a stiff wire like around bottom, which will keep it upright better.Really liked this bag. Good quality, with pockets that are roomy and hold all my crochet hooks, scissors,etc.Would recommendPerfect!Gave to granddaughter, perfect size for her abundance of yarnI love this bag. It's big and roomy and the 4 pockets on the outside of the bag are roomy for crochet hooks, etc. It's pretty to look at as well. I am so glad I bought it.
